December 6 - Saturday

Sweet little Nora.  She still has a runny nose & little fever, but that doesn't stop her from bringing her usual joy with her wherever she goes.

I finally felt good enough to make a Christmas activity list for our family today!  We're all so excited about it!

Nora asleep in my arms is one of my favorite things.  Sleeping beauty for sure.

Andlie & Hazey made their best Grinch faces for me tonight!  Spot on!

 

December 5 - Feeling Better

Poor Nora finally caught it.  She has a runny nose & little fever today.  But she is still pretty happy.  Hoping she doesn't get it as bad as we have had it.  We were feeling good enough to get back to our normal lives today.  (For the most part.)  Nora was not amused by my hat selection at Target.

Andlie made a list to match mine.

Haze asked to eat his food outside on a blanket.  This was a huge improvement over the last several days.  Poor little dude has pretty much banished food since Sunday.  I'm so happy to see he is getting his appetite (and his smile) back!

Even sick Nora is happy Nora.

We felt well enough to go down to Riverwoods and look at lights and see Santa!  Andlie & Haze jumped right up & told Santa what they wanted.  Andlie told him a skateboard and Haze told him a truck.  Nora hated him & wanted off.  We had a wonderful time looking at lights & eating ice cream together!  So thankful that we are finally starting to feel normal again!

December 4 - More Sickness & Jingle Bells

Haze was freaking us out with his rapid breathing last night so he went to the doc this morning.  His oxygen level was 96 so that helped my nerves right off.  Doc said his lungs sounded like they had a cold and that both ears had a bit of an infection.  Sent us home with orders to do breathing treatments every 4-6 hours as needed and some antibiotics.  Andlie went back to school this morning.  She did fine, but said her head was hurting during school.  This dang bug!  It is horrible!  Hoping we feel better & better.

Meanwhile, NoNo just roamed around looking for something to do all day.  She found some jingle bells!  They kept her busy for most of the night!  Even if she would put them down, she'd always come back to them.

December 3 - Still Sick

Still stupid sick.  Daddy went to work late & came home early today.  This sickness kicks your butt & knocks you out.  Thankful we have a nice home with comfy beds.  And thankful for the biggest benefit of being sick: snuggles with my babies.

December 2 - Sick Again & An Expression

Still sick.  And now Mommy & Daddy have it too.  And it's hideous.  Spent the day watching movies & blowing our noses & drinking medicine.

Except sweet Nora.  She was still happy.  That's probably why she has mastered this new expression.  She does it when she wants to be silly.  I'm so happy that I caught it on camera.

December 1 - Sick

Andlie & Haze are sick.  Fevers, coughs, runny noses, chills, sweats, you name it.  Andlie stayed home from school & Daddy stayed home from work today to help tend. 

Meanwhile, Nora was her usual happy self & was a bit confused about why she couldn't be near two of her favorite peeps.

November 30 - Home & Sick

 

Me, Andlie, & Nora went to church with Grama.  Haze stayed home sick with Daddy.  Me & Nora left after Sacrament.  Andlie stayed for Primary with Grama.

Made calzones for the family dinner & visited with Grampa.

Ate & visited.  Haze was pretty sick & spent the day downstairs.  Andlie got a fever after church.

Drove home.  Took Main Street so we could see the cute city lights.

Arrived home at 10:15 pm.  Nora cried the. whole. way. home.  Haze cried about every half hour.  Andlie wasn't super comfy either.  We were all happy to be home!  Especially Nora who giggled as soon as we got her out of the car & brought her in.
