Andlie had a soccer game this morning. We enjoyed a hot Summer morning! Luckily, we had lots of water and enough money to buy Hazey a Gatorade at his request.
At first, Andlie was running her fastest up & down the field! Who cares where the ball was?! But then, at half time, Daddy told her to "watch for the ball & take it with her when she runs so fast!" And, that she did! She did it once and scored a goal! And then she had tasted the taste of success! So, she scored four more goals! FOUR. It was a great game and so fun to watch her!
Afterwards, she drew a picture of what she looked like at her game. Be sure to notice the goal, the field, the ball, the grass, and her in her uniform (and cleats).
And we can't forget to add that we had dinner with our friends who moved away in July, the Duffs. We enjoyed dinner and treats and lots of laughter & playtime at their house tonight!
